Kapchorwa District Local Government has commission an OPD block for Sanzara HC III in Kawowo Sub county.
The 150 million block has been completed 100% by KASKO Enterprise Ltd. It was fully funded by Kapchorwa DLG under the Primary Health Care Programme. The commissioning was led by RDC who was represented by his Assistant Seiko Yasin Kuka, accompanied by LCV chairperson Mrs Chebet Evelyn Kubarika, CAO Mr. Kumakech Charles Oluba and DHO Dr Siraji Masai.

Mr Seiko Yasin asked the community of Sanzara to vote President Museveni so that they can have a fully standard HC III with a maternity ward, full staff and staff quarters. He further caution medical staff to follow their professional calling and serve Ugandans without extorting.
He also asked the health workers to keep the facility hygiene at all times.
The LCV chairperson thanked NRM government for championing the idea of extending services closer to its people. She equally thanked the of Sanzara for loving development, because if they hadn't donated land, this magnificent OPD block wouldn't be here. She promised to work on the road network of Sanzara in the next financial year.
She further urged the people to own, protect and harness all services available hence motivating Kampala to revamp this health facility.

Mr Kumakech urged the community to prioritize personal hygiene and healthier feeding which will reduce their frequent visits to the facility hence having time for more developmental issues and personal growth.
He also asked the DHO to request Kaserem HCIV for some drugs to be allocated here as waiting the Ministry code Sanzara facility.
Dr Siraji thanked all leaders for their aggressive and tireless efforts that have seen the light of this facility. He very much thanked the late Jinja for the land which this block is constructed.
He announced to general public that health services have started today in Sanzara onwards and monthly outreaches shall be conducted. Kawowo sub county promised to fence the whole land of the facility for security purposes.

The commissioning was also witnessed by District Engineer, Natural Resources, Procurement, District Audit, Kaserem HCIV, Kasko Director, Sub county political and technical team and the general public.
